Truck World 2026: Mission Accomplished for CANVEC
From April 16 to 18 in Toronto, CANVEC was on the floor at Truck World 2026… and we can say without hesitation: mission accomplished.
Three intense days. Three days of meetings, concrete exchanges, and on-the-ground discussions—exactly where it counts.
But above all, three days that confirm one thing: the transportation industry is undergoing a major transformation.
An Industry Under Change
Truck World 2026 made it clear: the market is changing—and fast.
- Time pressures are greater than ever
- Labor shortages continue to impact operations
- Demand for fast and flexible solutions is skyrocketing
- Technology (telemetry, electrification, fleet optimization) is playing an increasingly important role
“You can feel that the market is shifting. The demand is there—and customers are looking for reliable partners.” — Danny
The key takeaway: Companies are no longer just looking for suppliers.
They are looking for partners who can respond quickly, anywhere, without compromise.
A Strong Team on the Ground
On site, CANVEC could count on a dedicated and cohesive team:
Étienne, Émilie, Louis, Julie, Danny, Miguel, Manuel, Nancy, André and Damian.
A team that knows the field. A team that understands the realities of our clients. A team that isn’t afraid to roll up its sleeves.
Day 0 — The real work begins before the show

Even before the doors open, there’s the reality on the ground. Sometimes it’s a harsh reality! Setting up the booth, dealing with the unexpected, making last-minute adjustments. We’ve been through it all!
Louis, Manuel, Miguel, and Nancy were already hard at work.
We adapt. We solve problems. We break away from the daily grind. And above all, we build something that reflects who we are.
The result: a booth that really stands out.
Simple, effective… and eye-catching.
Day 1 — Energy is at its peak

A strong start. The team is ready. The energy is there. Our blue shirts and yellow shoes really stand out!
Traffic at the booth is steady, the conversations are substantive, and initial contacts are coming in fast. Plus, an interview with Francis Tremblay from On The Road Québec.
We speak honestly. We listen. We understand the issues.
And that makes all the difference.
Day 2 — We’re diving deeper
Day Two: Slowing down… to go further.
Strategic meetings. Discussions with partners. More focused interactions with clients.
🎤 Newcom Interview:
The discussions focus on the real issues:
- equipment availability
- rapid response
- business continuity
“What makes the difference isn’t just the equipment. It’s the ability to respond quickly, anywhere.” — Manuel
Day 3 — We finish strong

The final day, but by no means the least important.
We strengthen relationships. We plan follow-ups. We turn discussions into concrete opportunities.
Handshakes. Commitments. And above all, relationships that will last.
“Three days go by fast. But the relationships we build here last a long time.” — Miguel
Beyond the show: the real driving force is the team
Because, at the end of the day, Truck World isn’t just an event.
It’s also an opportunity to strengthen CANVEC’s greatest asset: its team.
“Beyond the event itself, we also have an amazing team-building experience. Spending three intense days together allows us to strengthen bonds that are already solid. A dinner with colleagues after a big day at the show… that’s priceless.” — Julie
That’s the reality on the ground.
Busy days. Constant challenges. And a team that moves forward together.
Thank you
A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the event:
Thierry and Shanna from Newcom, Francis and Carl from On The Road Québec and all our valued partners: Maxon, Manac, Dhollandia, Webasto, GHS, and many others.
Your involvement makes all the difference.
