Whether you haul construction materials, machinery or oversized loads, Canvec offers a range of flatbed trailers for rent: standard, extendable and drop deck. Explore the models below to find the one that meets your needs. Need help choosing? Our team will guide you and provide a quote tailored to your project.

A flatbed semi-trailer is an open trailer with no walls or roof. Its flat loading surface makes it easy to haul heavy, long, bulky or irregularly shaped freight: construction materials, lumber, steel beams and parts, industrial machinery and oversized loads.

A drop deck trailer carries items taller than a standard flatbed allows. It is the solution for construction sites: materials, construction equipment and tall loads. A three-axle drop deck can carry up to 38,000 kg, depending on configuration and regulations.

An extendable drop deck combines a lower deck, for tall freight, with an adjustable length, for especially long loads. It measures 53 feet closed and reaches 72 feet fully extended: ideal for beams, prefabricated structures, industrial parts and oversized machinery.

The extendable flatbed, also called a stretch trailer, is your ally for extra-long structures: wind turbine components, high-rise structures, bridge sections and other very long items. It extends up to 77 or 90 feet depending on the model.

The double drop deck is designed for over-dimensional loads. Its center deck sits even lower, giving you extra height clearance to haul oversized items.

A container chassis is a semi-trailer built to move containers between ports, rail terminals, warehouses and distribution centers. Renting lets you quickly add capacity during a volume increase, replace equipment or meet an intermodal need without buying.
It depends on the height and length of your cargo. A standard flatbed suits materials and standard machinery, a drop deck handles tall loads, and extendable flatbeds take very long pieces. Send our team the dimensions and weight of your load to confirm the right configuration.
A flatbed offers a flat 48′ or 53′ deck. A drop deck (step deck) has a lower floor for tall items, up to 38,000 kg on a tri-axle. An extendable flatbed (stretch) extends up to 77′ or 90′ for extra-long structures.
Both. Short-term rental is available by the day, week or month, ideal for a one-off project or a volume increase. For recurring needs, long-term leasing offers a lease tailored to your operations, with maintenance included.
The price depends on the type of trailer, the rental term and the options you need (axles, aluminum, toolbox, headboard). Canvec prepares a free, personalized proposal based on your load. Request your quote to get pricing tailored to your project.
